El 20, as this community is known, is located 20 km east of Xpujil. Its population descends almost entirely from the peninsular Mayan ethnic group. It is widely recognized for its numerous artisan workshops and for being the gateway to the mysterious archaeological site of Rio Bec.
4 artisan workshops, as well as the community tourism group, are part of Visit Calakmul and have an unparalleled range of services and activities to publicize the authentic Calakmul.
